Sparkling Wine Sangria Ingredients

  • Sparkling wine: I like to use a brut or dry sparkling wine for this recipe. You can use any type of sparkling wine that you like, but I find that the drier types work best.
  • Sweet white wine: I like to use a Moscato or Riesling for this recipe. You can use any type of sweet white wine that you like.
  • Fruit: I like to use a mix of fresh raspberries and peaches in my sangria. You can really use any type of fruit that you like. I’ve feel that peaches and raspberries is a great mix because they compliment each other so well.
  • Orange juice: I like to use fresh orange juice, but regular store bought orange juice will work just fine.
  • Brandy: I like brandy because it adds a nice depth of flavor to the sangria. But you can really use any type of liquor that you like.
  • Sugar: This cocktail requires sugar to make it sweeter. However, taste as you go and add more or less sugar to your liking.
  • Peaches: I like to buy fresh peaches and slice them myself. But you can also use can peaches or even frozen peaches.
  • Raspberries: I like to use fresh raspberries, but you can also use frozen raspberries if thats what you have on hand.
  • Mint: This is for garnish and also optional.

How to Store Sangria Instructions

This sangria will keep in the fridge for up to 3 days. After that, the sparkling wine will start to lose its effervescence and the fruit will start to break down.

So if you’re making this ahead of time, I recommend only making it a day or two in advance.

I like to store it in a big container that has a tight fitting lid. That way you can preserve the carbonation in the sparkling wine for as long as possible.
